Smart Retail is a global provider of shopper insights and analytics that empower retailers to improve profitability and effectiveness.
Scope of Responsibility: Recruited to boost sales revenue in multiple channels after company endured multiple setbacks post their second round of funding. The main objective was to form strategic partnerships and gain key retail clients through both direct retail and OEM / wholesale partnerships.
➔ Launched two strategic partnerships, in the first 12 months, with our OEM division, that added additional revenues of $1.7M in 2015 and grew that revenue by 33% each year since launch.
➔ Recruited and led new sales team to successfully re-brand and market our product line across the United States, Europe, and Latin America which generated an additional $3.2M in revenue annually and 110% over attainment goals within the first year.

Scope of Responsibility: Hired to launch Clearwire’s 4G brand, CLEAR 4G, in November of 2009 along the Eastern North Carolina market. Developed, recruited and trained a team of Indirect Sales leaders that managed our Local Indirect and National Retail base.
➔ Achieved 300%+ to quota on new activations consistently per month, after launch, and became the “go-to” expert for launching and leading new sales teams within the indirect channel.
➔ Added 180 points of distribution and doubled volume in the indirect market within the first year.

Scope of Responsibility: After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina – returned back to support the resurgence of our family business. Took over as Senior Leader to secure the competitive market share in the automotive sector.
➔ Introduced fully automated software, Cobalt, within the service department. This led to revenues greater than $100K per month within that division. Over 55% increase from prior year.
➔ Removed third-party QA outbound telesales system in place prior to an in-house follow-up system that generated a far better return on quality of sale, retention and service department revenue. Leading to an increase in revenue by $20K+ per month – or up 38% from previous system.
➔ Instituted further training for sales force via Grant Cardone to provide motivational training and support through a system for car dealers. Energized our sales force and provided proper tools to better close on our interactions and gain better retention rates of returning customer base.
Scope of Responsibility: Tapped by regional leaders to assist in launching the newly formed wireless brand, Verizon Wireless, across the Southern Gulf Region.
➔ Achieved record results including 200+ activations per week, 150% greater than region’s average.

NOTE: Post Hurricane Katrina – my region was destroyed and I was deployed as a Regional Leader assisting in opening new markets. Due to the Gulf Coast Market never being fully re-built I was able to resign on great terms after a wonderful launch and tenure post Hurricane Katrina.
